Higher Education and Workforce Development for Universal Preschool

Scope
Led higher education leaders and early childhood researchers, over the course of a year, in exploring and assessing the capacity to educate early childhood education teachers (P-3) in NJ given preschool expansion and the ultimate goal of universal preschool and recent Preschool Development Grant Birth to Five (PDG B-5) planning grant award with a workforce development focus.
Impact
Developed a report with a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) lens to present to the Council and stakeholders on recommendations on strategies to increase the capacity of NJ’s early childhood education workforce.
