Coaching and Training

Sage Horizons developed a research-based proprietary curriculum, Find Your Calm, and healing activity framework, Ekphrastic Poetry Healing Activity, which promote healing, mental well-being, self-discovery and creativity.

Our team trains and coaches professionals nationwide to address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and mitigate trauma using the Find Your Calm Curriculum and Ekphrastic Poetry Healing Activity Framework. The curriculum and framework are designed to build an emotionally healthy, well-supported workforce that is equipped to provide effective and sensitive care to the communities that they serve, including vulnerable populations. Our methodology is based on proven Healing-Centered Engagement (HCE) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) approaches with a poetry framework. 

Our team equips corporations, state agencies, local organizations, universities and colleges, public and private schools with the tools necessary to:

• • Educate families and raise awareness about the impacts of ACEs
    Develop and foster trauma-informed, trauma-responsive, healing-centered services and supports
  • Create and implement mindfulness-based Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curricula
  • Examine current practices and build strategies to refine or develop, and promote trauma-informed, trauma-responsive, DEI practices and policies
  • Apply their responsiveness both internally (with staff) and externally (with their clients and children and families they serve)

We provide the transformation and capacity-building at scale necessary to sustain meaningful change across an organization or educational institution. Our team conducts virtual and in-person full-day and multi-day workshops, conferences and webinars using Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) as the professional development model.
